your guide to a healthier starbucks
Starbucks, your go-to place for a quick coffee fix. We may not be aware of it, but there are a lot of hidden calories in each drink, and consuming them on a daily basis won't do you any good. But fear not, we've put together a guide to make your next Starbucks drink a little healthier.
Skip the whipped cream
Don't even bother adding whipped cream. It melts into the coffee anyway, and you can barely taste it. The calories aren't worth it.

Say YES to Skinny/Light
"Skinny" means that the drink is made with non-fat milk, sugar-free syrup, and no whipped cream.
"Light" usually refers to frappuccinos. It means that the customer would like their frap sugar free and made with skim milk so it contains less calories

Extra foam please
Foam takes up more space in the drink and you decrease the amount of milk used and calories in the drink. This is why cappuccinos have way less calories than a plain old latte.

Ice! More Ice!
Getting your coffee iced does the same trick by replacing some of the milk with, well, ice. By adding ice, you'll get a drink that is less milky, cooler, and more refreshing.

Go double shot
An extra shot of caffeine will not only give you an extra boost of energy in the morning, but it will also replace about an ounce of milk.
